Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES) is a high active, toiletry grade of ammonium lauryl ether sulphate manufactured by continuous SO3 sulfonation of a narrow cut, ethoxylated(3EO) alcohol, followed by ammonia neutralization.
Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES) is an anionic surfactant commonly used as an ingredient in the production of fine personal care and cosmetic products. ALES is used as a foaming and viscosity builder in high quality shampoos, foam bath preparations, shaving cream, body cleanser, facial cleanser, styling lotion, hair color, hair bleaching, relaxer, other toiletry and cleaning products, especially in lower pH value formulation.
In shampoo, it perform as removal of dandruff, making the hair soft, silky and loose.
Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES) is compatible with other surfactants. Most notably is that it exhibits copious stable foam with favorable viscosity properties. The product is especially suitable for liquid shampoos, skin cleaning agents with low pH and owing to its low irritation it is recommended for baby products.
Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES) is highly valued for its ready biodegradability. Such properties allow the product to be used also in industrial foaming agents.
Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES) is very mild anionic surfactant. It has excellent performance of decontamination, foaming, hard water resistance, and high biodegradability ratio. It create rich fine foams. It is non-toxic and no irritation to skin. Its pH value is very similar to the pH value of skin, this produce a comfortable feeling.
Shelf life: 1 year (store in a dry warehouse with adequate ventilation, recommended temperature 20-40 degree centigrade)
Storage: It is sensitive to change in temperature and pH value. Decomposition can occur at temperature above 40 degree centigrade or in acidic conditions (pH below 5)
